Blue Sky Adventures is a family business run by experienced Scouters who thoroughly understand the scouting program and what it takes to make a scout trip not only successful but also fun!

      My name is Mike Pardue, founder of Blue Sky Adventures. I am a former senior executive of a major company, former Scoutmaster of a 75 boy Troop, long time 27 plus year Scouter and recipient of many scouting awards including the Silver Beaver. I started Blue Sky Adventures to fill the need for a reputable full service and first class Philmont tour company---advisors should be focused on getting the scouts ready for Philmont and shouldn’t have to worry about all the details of the trip or the tour provider. I have been to Philmont four times and am committed to make your experience the best it can be.

     After a successful career in the financial industry, my son Rob joined me at Blue Sky Adventures this past year. Rob is an Eagle Scout, former Philmont Ranger and Associate Advisor of a Venture Crew. Rob graduated from Boston College and obtained an MBA from Duke University. Rob shares my passion for delivering a top quality experience to all those who entrust us with this important part of their trip.

     Blue Sky Adventures knows how to make your trip to Philmont memorable. We firmly believe that the journey to a scouting destination should be as much fun as the destination itself. It’s our job to make the trip getting to Philmont exciting, fun, safe and stress free.

      Our team includes scouts and scouters who have been to and worked at Philmont. We know what it takes to get ready for a trek and what it takes to make a trek successful.
